Your journey begins with a comfortable pick-up at your chosen location, heading towards some of Normandy’s most stunning and historic destinations. We start in Étretat, renowned for its breathtaking white cliffs. If you’re up for a walk (2 hours round trip), we can climb to the top for panoramic views and a closer look at the Aiguille de Belval, a striking rock formation sculpted by nature. As we explore, we’ll discuss geology, the Viking origins of Normandy, and the legendary Arsène Lupin, whose adventures were inspired by these dramatic landscapes.
On the way to Veules-les-Roses, we can stop in Fécamp to visit the Palais Bénédictine (tickets not included), where the famous herbal liqueur is crafted, or explore the ruins of the Palace of the Dukes of Normandy, once a major stronghold of the region’s rulers. We then enjoy lunch in Étretat, Fécamp, or Veules-les-Roses, depending on the time, with the opportunity to savor fresh seafood or other local specialties in a picturesque setting.
Our final stop is Veules-les-Roses, one of France’s most charming villages. A scenic walk from the river’s source to the sea takes us along the smallest river in France, past historic water mills, half-timbered houses, and beautifully flower-filled gardens. This tour is a perfect blend of dramatic landscapes, rich history, and Norman charm, offering a truly immersive experience in one of France’s most beautiful regions.
